間々田和彦（プノンペン大学客員講師）と30年来の友人の長谷川清一（2016年に沖縄に移住）が、プノンペン市内にあるサマキーハイスクールにプロジェクターを寄贈したことから、私たちの活動が始まりました。
Our work began when Kazuhiko Mamada (a guest lecturer at Phnom Penh University) and his friend of 30 years, Seiichi Hasegawa (who moved to Okinawa in 2016), donated a projector to Samakhi High School in Phnom Penh City.
同校でシニアハイスクールの生徒を対象に、プロジェクターで教材を投影しながら進める授業実験を実施しました。
映像を見ながら授業を進める手法は、同校の教師や生徒にとって初めての体験。教師からも生徒からも感嘆の声が上がる中、生徒からもこうした授業の実施を求める声が上がりました。
At this high school, we held a class for senior high school students in which we projected educational materials using a projector.
The method of conducting lessons while watching videos was a first for teachers and students at the school. Both teachers and students expressed their admiration. There were also requests from students to implement such classes.

同校の理科教師であるナレン先生は、ご自分のパソコンでインターネットから情報を得ながらオリジナルの教材を作成し、授業を行い始めました。
ナレン先生によると、画像を見せながら授業は生徒の授業内容に対する関心を高めるため、授業への集中度が高くなり、理解力も増すとのことでした。
このため、同校からはさらなるプロジェクターの寄贈を依頼されました。
Mr. Naren, a science teacher at the school, created original teaching materials by researching on the Internet and began teaching classes using a projector.
According to Mr. Naren, teaching while showing images increases students' interest in the lesson content, leading to higher concentration and comprehension of the lesson.
Due to this background, we received a request from the school to donate more projectors.

インターネットを活用しパソコンで教材を作り、その教材をプロジェクターで投影する授業方法が、生徒の授業への集中力と理解力を高めることに効果的であるとの実感を得、本格的にプロジェクター等の寄贈活動を実施しようと、長谷川が居住する沖縄で募金活動を始めました。
那覇市内の居酒屋「ねま屋」、「肉バル」などのほか、フィットネスクラブや今帰仁村の居酒屋からも協力をいただき、これまでに数十万円が集まりました。
We realized that teaching using a projector was effective in increasing students' concentration and understanding of the lesson, so we decided to carry out a full-scale projector donation campaign. Therefore
, started a fundraising campaign in Hasegawa's hometown of Okinawa.
With the cooperation of several izakaya restaurants in Naha City, including "Nemaya" and "Meat Bar called Nikubaru," as well as a fitness club and an izakaya restaurant in Nakijin Village, hundreds of thousands of yen have been collected so far.

沖縄で募金活動に協力していただいている「ねま屋」の女将他と一緒にカンボジアを訪問しました。
サマキーハイスクールで開かれた、パソコンとプロジェクターを使ったモデル授業に参加し、その場で追加のプロジェクターを2台寄贈しました。
We visited Cambodia with the owner of "Nemaya" and others who have cooperated with our fundraising activities in Okinawa.
We participated in a model class using computers and projectors at Samakee High School and donated two additional projectors there.

2021年の東京パラリンピックの車いすマラソンで見事入賞を成し遂げた喜納翼さんが、募金活動に協力してくれました。
当時彼女が所属していたタイヤランド沖縄は、車椅子利用者が利用や運転ができる福祉車両の製造を手掛けており、その後カンボジアでの福祉車両の案件で、様々な協力をいただくことになりました。
Tsubasa Kina, who successfully won a prize in the wheelchair marathon at the Tokyo 2021 Paralympics, cooperated in our fundraising activities.
Tireland Okinawa, of which she was a member at the time, was engaged in the production of welfare vehicles that can be used and driven by wheelchair users, and we will receive various kinds of cooperation for a welfare vehicle project in Cambodia.

東京の竹書房の協力を得て、児童本をカンボジア王立プノンペン大学外国語学部日本語学科に寄贈しました。
同学科では、1～2年の学部生の日本語読み書きの初期教育で使用しています。
同校ではこれまで多くの日本語書籍を集めてきましたが、どれも1～2冊づつでクラス全員が同じ教材を使いながら学習することができませんでした。
そこで、竹書房のご厚意で2種類の児童本をそれぞれ41冊づつ寄贈しました。

With the cooperation of Take Shobo in Tokyo, Japan, we donated children's books to the Japanese Language Department of the Faculty of Foreign Languages at the Royal University of Phnom Penh in Cambodia.
The donated children's books are used in early Japanese reading and writing education for first and second year classes in the same department.
The university has collected a large number of Japanese books, but since they only contained one or two books at a time, it was not possible for all classes to use the same materials while studying.
Therefore, with the kindness ofTake Shobo, we donated 41 copies each of two types of children's books.

かねてより交流のあったプノンペンのくっくま孤児院で、沖縄の居酒屋女将の根間ますみさんが訪問、間々田和彦の教え子のチョーダさんや長谷川なども加わり、子供たちと一緒にサーターアンダギー（沖縄の揚げ菓子）づくりを行いました。
もちろん、出来上がったお菓子は全員でいただきました。
Masumi Nema, an Okinawan tavern(izakaya) proprietress, visited Kukkuma Orphanage in Phnom Penh. Kazuhiko Mamada's students Choda and Hasegawa also baked sweets (Okinawan fried sweets called Sartar andergy) with the children.
Of course, we all ate the sweets we cooked.

NPO法人リビング・オール・トゥギャザー理事長である小川正が中心となり、プノンペン在住の間々田和彦などとともに、カンボジア日本人材開発センター（略称：CJCC、王立プノンペン大学の敷地内に設置されている）において、日本文化を紹介するための文化交流イベントを実施しました。
日本の伝統芸能や書画などに、カンボジアの人々は興味津々。参加した子供たちは日本の楽器（三味線）の体験も。
Tadashi Ogawa, chairman of the NPO Living All Together, held a cultural exchange event to introduce Japanese culture with Kazuhiko Mamata, who lives in Phnom Penh.
The event was held at the Cambodia-Japan Human Resource Development Center (CJCC, located on the premises of the Royal University of Phnom Penh).
Cambodian people are very interested in Japanese traditional performing arts, calligraphy, and paintings. The children who participated in the event also had the opportunity to try out a Japanese musical instrument (shamisen).

2021年4月～2022年初頭までは世界中がコロナ禍で鎖国状態となり、私たちの活動も停滞しました。
2022年3月以降、多くの国々が一般の旅行者を受け入れるようになり、それに合わせて私たちも活動を再開しました。
私たちはコンポンチュナン州のハイスクールに出かけ、パソコンを触ったことのない教師には、パソコンの電源の入れ方から研修を行い、インターネットを活用して様々な情報を仕入れながら教材を作る方法、そしてその教材を使ったモデル授業を通じて、生徒たちの高関心と理解力向上を引き出す授業手法を伝えました。
From April 2021 to early 2022, the world was in a state of isolation due to the coronavirus pandemic, and our activities were at a standstill.
Since March 2022, many countries have started accepting general travelers, and we have resumed our activities accordingly.
We visited a high school in Kampong Chhnang province and trained teachers who had never used a computer, including how to turn them on. We also taught them how to use the Internet to obtain various information and create teaching materials. We then conducted model lessons using these materials and taught teaching methods that would draw out the students' high level of interest and improve their understanding.

私たちは、カンボジアに寄贈するプロジェクターやパソコンを持ち込む際、緩衝材を使ってこうした機器を梱包していました。
一方で、日本の古着は耐久性や品質が優れており、アジア諸国で人気が高いことを知り、それならば緩衝材代わりに古着を使い、その古着を必要な人たちに寄贈しようと考えました。
そして、それを日本の協力者に話したところたくさんの古着（と言っても子供服の古着は新品に近いものが多かった）が集まり、それを何回かに分けてくっくま孤児院に寄贈しました。
When we brought projectors and computers to be donated to Cambodia, we used cushioning material to pack these devices.
One day, we learned that Japanese used clothing is highly durable and high quality, and is popular in Asian countries. Therefore, we decided to use old clothes instead of cushioning material and donate the used clothes to people in need.
When we talked about the above idea to our Japanese collaborators, we collected a lot of used clothes (many of the used children's clothes were almost new). We then donated the old clothes to Kukuma Orphanage in several parts.

当NPO法人副理事長の長谷川清一は、かねてより親交のあった牧師一家を訪ねてフィリピンにわたりました。
牧師一家と一緒にルソン島南部にある教会に行き、長谷川の所属するニューマーケティング協会から送られた新品のTシャツ、そして集められた子供服や新品のYシャツなどを寄贈しました。
この教会は、マニラのスラム街の人々が移住してきた地域にあり、特に貧しい人々が多い場所です。
Seiichi Hasegawa, vice Derector of this NPO, traveled to the Philippines to visit a pastor's family with whom he has close friendships.
We visited a church in southern Luzon with the pastor's family and donated new T-shirts , collected children's clothes and new Y-shirts sent by the New Marketing Association, to which Hasegawa belongs.
This church is located in an area where people from Manila's slums have migrated, and where there are many particularly poor people.
